Dr. Carrie Ann Buck served in the role of classroom teacher, English Language Learner Specialist, Assistant Principal, Lead Principal, Executive Director, and President. She worked in both the Clark County School District and Pinecrest Academy of Nevada, a public charter school. She holds a Masters’ degree in Administration and Supervision and a Doctorate degree in Organizational Leadership. Carrie attended the USC Urban Superintendent Academy and earned a School Finance certificate from Georgetown University.
In 2019, Dr. Buck became the President of the Pinecrest Foundation, creating partnerships for dual enrollment and workforce development opportunities for students. She developed a Master Teacher process and recognition program to highlight and retain teachers in classrooms culminating in a Master Teacher gala at the end of each year.
After 25 years of serving Southern Nevada in the field of education, Carrie now serves the State of Nevada as our Republican Senator in the Nevada Legislature. Senator Buck flipped a -5.5 Democrat seat back to Republican!
