CARRIE COX - LOCAL TEACHER AND BUSINESS OWNER
Carrie Cox is a kindergarten teacher, and small business owner. Someone who cares deeply for Henderson and cares deeply about its residents. Too often in today’s society, we find ourselves divided by our differences. But we are going to hear today from a woman who strives to bring our community together. She has decided to bring her love of her community and her efforts in educating our youth to the Henderson City Council by running for Ward 3 City Councilmember. 

Carrie Cox is a local teacher, business owner, and community leader, she has always been driven by her desire to improve our community. She is a mother of seven and grandmother of ten. She is genuine and only has goals that serve us and our community. Her priorities are to improve public safety, focus on improving education at Henderson schools, create jobs in our community, and bring transparency to the city council. These priorities put the people of Henderson first.

Carrie has lived in Henderson for more than 25 years. A graduate of Brigham Young University, she has been active in our community in local nonprofit organizations and has been appointed to the Henderson Blue Ribbon Commission on Educational Excellence and the Clark County Community Development Advisory Committee.

Carrie’s desire has always been to make our community better. She wants to bring her vision and leadership to the Henderson City Council and make real changes. Carrie is active in our community and has made strides to improve education and our city’s economy. Carrie has shown leadership in every endeavor she has undertaken. She has announced that she will run for the Henderson City Council Ward 3 seat to bring her no-nonsense style to a city that could use it.
